Angèle Ferreux-Maeght at the Organic Cookery Workshop

Angèle was brought up in a family passionate about cooking and good products. She grew up between Paris (Rue Daguerre, a genuine street market) and the family farm in Grasse. From a very young age, she developed an interest in food: the vegetable garden was her favourite playground. She discovered organic farming and the “locavore” movement in San Francisco, where she also worked at the Ferry Building Marketplace, a local organic market. In Australia, the enthusiasm for “green juices” and a healthy lifestyle confirmed her passion for this type of cooking and lifestyle. Her meeting with Céleste Candido in 2006 was a turning point in her career: this naturopath passed on her passion for detoxification, naturopathy and the principles of natural health. She began to co-lead detox breaks all over the world, before launching a naturopathy school in Paris, the Cenatho.


Angèle founded her own detox and ethical delicatessen, La Guinguette d’Angèle, where she proposes local and gluten-free products. She also uses in her recipes all the notions from her naturopathy course. Today she works with many brands who rely on her for their catering or their press conferences, as well as with artistic associations (festivals, art exhibition vernissages, launch parties, etc.).
