With 34,7% of its useful agricultural area (UAA) converted to organic, the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region is three times more committed than the national average (10,4%). This national leadership position makes it a key territory for organic farming and the agroecological transition.

While the national objective is to achieve 25% of surfaces will be organic by 2030, the PACA region already exceeds this target and aims 40% by 2027. In a context where 54% of French people consume organic products at least once a month, the market shows signs of stabilization and renewed interest. 80% of consumers consider that organic farming contributes to the preservation of the environment, a trend which supports the development of committed regional businesses.

At Natexpo 2025, Provençal companies will showcase concrete solutions to maintain this momentum and meet consumer expectations. In 2023, 12% of exhibitors were from the PACA region, thus confirming its central role in the organic sector.
