Hello Christophe Barnouin, can you introduce yourself in a few words: who are you, where are you from, what do you do?

I am from Lyon, president of the association Bio Values, Vice-President of the Maison de la bio and President ofEcotone.
It is a company with a mission on biodiversity, certified BCorp and French and European leader in organic and plant-based products with brands such as Bjorg, Clipper, Bonneterre present in large and medium-sized stores and specialist stores.
The future seems to be brightening for organic.
How are you experiencing it on your side?
Indeed, growth has resumed with +3-5% growth for a year now.
The supply has improved, and we now have healthy and sustainable growth in organic products. We're expecting a 5-6% increase in the coming years, with strong consumer expectations. Organic products respond to a real concern about the use of chemical pesticides. According to the latest IFOP Maison de la Bio survey, 9 out of 10 people say they're worried, and this is on the rise. This concern is all too justified, given that exposure to pesticides is widespread: from food to water, soil, air, and ecosystems.
What are BIO VALEURS' projects to supportthe sector?
We continue to contribute to discussions on strategic issues related to organic farming and to strengthen ties with professional and public bodies. In April 2025, for example, we held a day of discussions with members of Biovaleurs on the links between organic farming and regenerative agriculture.
What do you expect from the next edition of Natexpo 2025?
Discuss with all stakeholders in the organic sector the levers to make the benefits of organic farming on public health and environmental issues more visible.
Your daily organic reflex?
I eat 100% organic at home and increasingly plant-based foods at work too. My wish: to find more organic products in restaurants!
