By 2027, the turnover of the organic food and cosmetics sectors could double and increase from 13 billion euros to 26 billion, according to one of the scenarios revealed by the recent prospective study carried out by Credoc and AND International for “NATEXBIO – La Maison de la Bio », owner of the NATEXPO trade fair.

Although the organic food market is currently experiencing a slight decline after the exceptional period of 2020, it nevertheless recorded an increase in home consumption of +11,4% compared to the pre-Covid year of 2019.1. Consumers therefore confirm their enthusiasm for organic products, however their expectations tend to evolve, notably towards more local, anti-waste, ethical products.

NATEXPO Lyon 2022: many new features to support businesses in a changing context

The show is notably launching two new thematic tours to guide professionals through the show: "Local," to target companies with local commitments, and "Épure," highlighting players in high-end organic cosmetics. In addition, in partnership with Ingrébio, NATEXPO has designed an Organic Ingredients Discovery Tour, to meet key exhibitors in the sector for 1 hour.
