The World Organic Congress, is being held for the first time in France from 21 to 27 September 2020, at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes.

Every three years, global organic agriculture and food stakeholders gather at the Organic World Congress (OWC). For its 20th edition and for the first time in 48 years, the World Congress of Bio will be held in France. Nearly 2,400 international delegates from 50 countries, representing 815 organizations and thousands of professionals, are expected to discuss challenges and solutions to a fundamental problem: How to better feed the world by regenerating our planet? The biggest meeting of the organic sector in the world: all the actors are there, from the production to the consumption to share the last innovations, the last works and scientific research, to put in perspective the different models of development of the organic sector , around the world… 16 organizers *, for a Congress as international as local: under the aegis of IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements), they are 16 of the main French and international organizations of Organic Agriculture. The 2020 edition is a real homecoming for IFOAM, which was born in France in 1972.
