NATEXPO Lyon has just closed its doors and is taking a positive look at this 2022 edition, while organic industry players were in a state of uncertainty. The new format of the show, spanning three days instead of the previous two, held its promise and recorded a good attendance from Sunday, September 18 to Tuesday, September 20. 10,177 organic industry professionals gathered during this event, a figure up 27% compared to the previous edition in Lyon in 2020.

To extend this momentum, NATEXPO Digital is open until September 30, 2022. This platform, having generated nearly 1 interactions to date, allows for continued online exchanges with exhibitors and visitors.

NATEXPO is already starting preparations for its next edition in Paris, from October 22 to 24, 2023, which promises to be full of new features once again!

All the links in the organic chain represented: from ingredients to distribution

The enthusiasm of professionals for this edition confirms the major role that NATEXPO now holds among the annual meetings dedicated to the world of organic products. Actors from all walks of life, both French and international, participated in this benchmark event. From start-ups, new entrants to this market, to long-standing players, from brands committed to organic products to major retailers: everyone traveled from all over France and many countries around the world to discover, in one place, all the latest news on organic products in 360°.

This increase is in line with the growth in the number of exhibitors. 1800 exhibitors and brands attended this major event for the entire industry, which saw a 25% increase in exhibition space compared to 2020.

At the forefront of new trends

This unifying event allowed organic industry players to come together to exchange ideas in a friendly and human setting, strengthen their ties and start new projects.

The NATEXPO trade fair created business opportunities by facilitating meetings and the discovery of a sector in motion, which must meet the new expectations of consumers, oriented towards more local, anti-waste, ethical products, etc. Thus, nearly 1500 business meetings were held during the 3 days of the trade fair.

By participating in NATEXPO Lyon 2022, industry professionals were at the forefront of deciphering new trends and meeting the new challenges of organic! Moreover, the agility and inventiveness of the exhibitors were reflected both in the design of their stands and in the creative activities offered to showcase their innovations.

"I always really enjoy coming back to Lyon. Of course, the atmosphere is a little more complicated, but I find the organization of the show very professional, the presentation very effective, without being over the top, so a big thumbs up to both the federation and the organizers of this show because I think we have to keep going. The profession also needs to get together to clearly thank the suppliers for being there but also continue to build this very specific bond that we have in the organic world."
Benoit Soury, president of So.Bio and Bio C'Bon and director of the organic and local market at Carrefour

"Natexpo is an opportunity for us all to come together and reflect on how we work in-store and what we want to offer our customers. This is the place to share all these thoughts with all the teams. The goal is to open our minds a little."
Antoine and Matthieu Thimonier, managers of 4 La Vie Claire boutiques
