Description
Agence BIO, the French agency for the development and promotion of organic farming, is the forum for dialogue at the service of players in the organic sector. It brings together the ministries in charge of agriculture and the environment as well as the NFOA (National Federation of Organic Agriculture), the PACA (Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Agriculture), the Synabio (Union of organic companies) and Agricultural Cooperation.
Its missions are to inform about organic agriculture and food, to make known the evolution of production, consumption and consumer expectations in France with the follow-up of the organic observatory, and to support the development of the sector by structuring organic sectors.
