According to the latest information from Synadiet, the food supplement sector generated 2,7 billion euros in turnover in 2023, +3% vs. 2022. 63% of French people have taken a food supplement in the last 24 months. Products that are taking up more and more space in the lives of the French since the share of regular consumers has increased by 2% compared to 2023.

In terms of distribution channels, pharmacies remain the leading channel with a 54% market share. Three other distribution channels saw their sales increase in 2023: parapharmacy (+3%), specialized nutrition and advice channels (+3%), and e-commerce (+2%).
