Natexpo is a trade show, bringing together all the players in the organic industry – and even more – across 8 sectors:

  • Organic Food

Since January 1st 2022, the offering of collective catering services must include at least 50% of sustainable products and 20% of organic products. An obligation that offers a new opportunity for organic development in France.

The Organic Food sector of Natexpo represents more than half of the show. It is the largest concentration of the organic food offer for all professionals in the sector. Its importance reflects the dynamism of the market in France and internationally.

Between confinements and curfews, the COVID crisis has had a significant impact on the eating habits of the French. Their expectations in terms of healthy and local products have notably increased. At Natexpo 2023, this trend is perfectly illustrated by the many innovations from exhibitors in the food segment.

  • Services and Equipment for Retail and Brands

A great number of initiatives are emerging across Europe in organic product retail: online selling, m-commerce, loose goods, automatic vending, farm shops, packaging-free shops, snacks, etc.

Stores are also adapting their interiors to these changes in consumption patterns whilst maintaining their own DNA, thus developing a quite singular model insofar as being a place to spend quality time, an advice centre and a connected platform. At the same time, brands are also looking for responsible and innovative suppliers to support them with packaging issues, process digitization, logistics, etc.

These developments are the first signs of a distribution model which is still trying to find its way between “traditional” organic and “mass market” organic.
