BIODIS, partner to independent organic shops
Founded in 1988 and taken over in 2019 by Myriam Jourdan, Biodis is a wholesaler specialising in organic products. Initially based in the north-west and east of France, the company now covers the whole of the country. A major player among independent organic shops, Biodis stands out for its strong commitment to customer service.
One priority: customer service
Biodis offers a catalogue of 10,000 products covering food (groceries, fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, drinks) and non-food (hygiene, well-being), in bulk or packaged. Our offering is constantly evolving, adapting to market dynamics. Customer service is at the heart of our strategy, as demonstrated by the complete digitisation of our warehouses from 2020 and the ongoing development of our ‘Espace Pro’, an online platform dedicated to our customers. Reserved for partner shops, the Espace Pro makes ordering simple and efficient. Continuously accessible and regularly improved, it is recognised for its user-friendliness, reliability and contribution to the day-to-day management of sales outlets. This system is part of a drive to establish a balanced and sustainable relationship between shops, producers and suppliers, with a transparent pricing policy to serve the end consumer.
A committed partnership with independent shops
We favour strong partnerships with independent organic shops. This approach allows us to better reference products, monitor shelf performance more closely, and develop new offers, particularly based on local produce. Our customers are shops of all sizes, from local grocery shops to more structured outlets.
Our structured sales team supports each customer: sales assistants, field sales staff, a wine and beer manager and a sales director provide prospecting, follow-up and personalised advice.
Creating lasting links in the organic sector
Our close relationships with producers and manufacturers enable us to offer competitive prices and a constantly expanding product range.
We are also developing our own brands:
- Bio de la baie du Mont St-Michel, a range of vegetables produced in partnership with local market gardeners;
- Vintastique, a selection of harvest wines at affordable prices.
In 2024, we launched Mon Drive Bio, a click & collect e-commerce site available free of charge to shops. This service gives them access to a digital tool without any investment or technical management.
Thanks to our roots in the organic ecosystem, our constant awareness of the market and our culture of innovation, we can support shops in their day-to-day development. Our aim: to offer them high-performance tools, relevant products and impeccable service.
