At the forefront of these new consumer trends, NATEXPO Lyon 2022 reveals the vitality of organic players, who are demonstrating great agility in adapting and reinventing themselves, giving rise to numerous innovations and great successes.

Indeed, even if the market is currently experiencing a slight decline after the exceptional period of 2020, the growth potential of organic products remains significant in France. Accompanied by strong political and public action, the turnover of the organic food and cosmetics sectors could even double by 2027 and increase from 13 billion euros to 26 billion euros, according to one of the scenarios revealed by the recent prospective study conducted by Credoc and AND International for "NATEXBIO – La Maison de la Bio », owner of the NATEXPO trade show. 1800 exhibitors and brands are expected at NATEXPO Lyon 2022, revealing the involvement of the sector's players, massively mobilized and ready to take on new challenges to meet changing consumer expectations!

 

Three days of discussions around organic farming

For 1st times, the Lyon edition of this international trade fair, a benchmark in organic products, will be held over 3 full days, from Sunday 18th to Tuesday 20th September. NATEXPO Lyon will therefore be identical in every way to the Parisian event and will offer the same exceptional development opportunities in a tense situation. 

 

A toolbox to develop your organic activities and even more

A veritable toolbox for developing organic activities, the show represents an opportunity to discover all the latest trends in the sector, to meet new entrants as well as established players, who are shaking up a sector that is always pioneering. In direct contact with market developments, the show is introducing many new features this year. NATEXPO Lyon notably offers a new center dedicated to e-commerce, an option that has become essential since the health crisis. The show is also launching two new thematic routes to guide professionals through the show: "Local," to target companies with local commitments, and "Épure" to highlight players in high-end organic cosmetics. In addition, in partnership with Ingrébio, NATEXPO has designed an Organic Ingredients Discovery Tour, to meet key exhibitors in the sector for 1 hour.

Among the many innovations presented at the show, visitors will discover in particular the winners of the NATEXPO 2022 Trophies, which reward the most innovative, original, and useful products launched during the year. They will also have the opportunity to explore, via the New Products Gallery, products revealing current trends, whether in the fields of health, gastronomy, minimalism, or new ingredients. In this space, 200 products will be presented. In addition, to allow organic players to identify all the new market opportunities, the show welcomes nearly 45% new exhibitors this year. Nuggets of organic food, the circular economy, technological eco-innovations, organic hygiene and beauty, etc.

Located in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the number one in organic processing and distribution with more than 3,000 companies in the field in its territory, the show expects 1800 exhibitors and brands.
