The trend towards organic heightened by Covid
The coronavirus crisis considerably boosted the growth of the organic market. In France, in specialist organic shops, the average spend increased sharply during the lockdown period: by around 55 %, according to 95 % of the professionals questioned during a survey initiated by BioLinéaires & Ecozept, supported by Natexbio & Synadis Bio, in partnership with Biopanel.. In supermarkets, sales of organic food also jumped by 63% in value in the first week of lockdown compared to the same period in 2019.

NATEXPO Digital : 5 days for online interactions
In addition to the physical event and to be accessible to professionals from all over the world in every circumstances, Natexpo lanches a digital version of the trade show. « Natexpo Digital » has been designed to cater the needs of the most distant international visitors, From Monday 21st to Friday 25th September, this new tool offers access to the full exhibitor offering. Additionally, a chatroom will enable visitors to interact directly with exhibitors.
Strict health precautions for everyone’s safety
NATEXPO fulfils every requirement specified by the French government and the Rhone Prefect authorising the organisation of events welcoming no more than 5,000 people at any one time. Natexpo is implementing a set of stringent health guidelines to guarantee everyone’s safety during stand assembly, the exhibition itself and dismantling:
- Wearing a face mask is compulsory,
- People are required to disinfect their hands with sanitizer at the show entrance,
- All visitors receive a free individual bottle of hand sanitizer,
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are positioned at several locations in the show (toilets, restaurant, rest areas, etc.),
- Digital communication is reinforced (talks programmes, show content, etc.),
- Catering areas have been extended to enable the regulatory social distancing of tables
