Hello Christelle Le Hir, can you introduce yourself in a few words: who are you, where are you from, what do you do?

I am Christelle Le Hir, President of the Board of Directors of The Vie Claire since 2022 and, since March 2024, President of the Synadis Bio. I am also vice-president of NatexbioMy background combines solid experience in the food industry, notably at Mondelez and Anheuser-Busch, and expertise in specialized distribution acquired at Grand Frais Épicerie.

Passionate about food and cooking in general, I am convinced of the benefits of organic food for health and the environment.

I am committed to promoting responsible consumption by democratizing access to quality organic products, with an authentic taste and without artifice.

The future seems brighter for organic. How are you experiencing this?

After several difficult years marked by inflation and closures, the organic market is showing encouraging signs of recovery. In specialized distribution, sales value has increased by approximately 7% since the beginning of the year. This momentum is the result of a collective mobilization of the organic sector, and I am proud to see that La Vie Claire is actively contributing to it.

We focus on three major areas:

  • Taste : our consumers expect tasty, quality organic products that stand out.
  • accessibility : with our “Low Price Organic” offer and strengthened partnerships with local producers, we are working to make organic products affordable, even in a tense economic context.
  • Pedagogy : providing information on the health benefits, traceability and values of organic remains essential to strengthen consumer confidence and encourage more informed consumption.

What are Synadis Bio's plans to support thethe sector?

As President of Synadis Bio and Vice-President of theBio Agency, I am keen to unite specialist distributors around promising projects, in close collaboration with the entire sector.

Synadis Bio has several projects to support the sector and strengthen the place of organic products in French consumer habits. First, we want to make organic products essential in specialized distribution, by working both on its attractiveness and on educating people about its benefits.

Then, we continue our advocacy actions to ensure compliance with the objectives set by the Egalim law, in particular the 20% organic content in collective catering.

Finally, we are strengthening our presence in the sector's strategic bodies. We will be at the International Agricultural Show, in particular, to assert our central role. Synadis has a clear mission: to advocate for organic products among decision-makers and to play an educational role among consumers and industry stakeholders.

The solidarity demonstrated during the crisis is our strength. By working hand in hand with organic stakeholders, we are building a more resilient and promising future for the sector.

What do you expect from the next edition of Natexpo?
in 2025?

Natexpo is the unmissable organic event. An event with a larger scope: the return to the Porte de Versailles, I see it as an opportunity to continue to:

  • Strengthen links between stakeholders in the sector, whether they are producers, distributors or manufacturers.
  • Sharing best practices to meet consumer expectations
  • Highlighting innovations inspiring, like emerging brands and innovative products that embody a new momentum for organic.

It is also a key moment to reaffirm our shared commitment to making organic a driving force for ecological and food transition.

What is your daily organic reflex?

My daily organic reflex is to consume La Vie Claire brand products every day.
