Return to the land
Returning to the land means first turning to agriculture that respects living things – organic farming is the epitome of this. Biodiversity is indeed essential to the overall balance of cultivated land. A good example is the Val de Loire producers' organization Pom'Evasion, which has been pursuing an agroecological approach for several years – for some members, for more than 15 years. With the help of experts, each producer conducts their experiments and shares them with others to move towards cultivating a living, humus-rich soil, as agroecology implies. Because an orchard is an entire ecosystem!
Another example of land valorization: the Invitation to the Farm networkSince 2015, independent and committed farmers have chosen to sell their fresh produce primarily locally, within a radius of 80 km. Yogurts, organic and farmhouse cheeses and, more recently, cheeses made from sheep's milk delight the taste buds of consumers who are fond of these short circuits. The network, which currently has 34 farmers, is currently developing its communication with the slogan " From udder to pot ", and is preparing to develop a bulk offer.
Legumes at the party
Whether in the current trends of vegetarianism or the search for healthy food, the nutritional richness of legumes is clearly reappearing. Even if in reality they are still little consumed in France, the craze is real. Responding to this demand, organic producers are offering a host of new products this year, including stingy is part of it. A range of legume-based products that goes off the beaten track for aperitifs, desserts, and even snacks. Would you like to enjoy roasted chickpeas covered in chocolate?
The organic aperitif is constantly reinventing itself
The aperitif gives many ideas to manufacturers. This is the case for the company Picotti, which offers organic vegetables with simple and balanced recipes, made in their workshop. The crunchy organic vegetables preserved with spices have everything to please: the vegetables are cut into cubes of about 2 cm (red pepper, carrot, onion), soaked in Guérande salt, then cooked very quickly in vegetable broth. After filling into the jars, the boiling spiced syrup (depending on the variety: curry, ginger, pepper, turmeric, or herbes de Provence) is added to pasteurize them. The result: 100% organic plant-based products, without coloring or preservatives, and low in calories.
